The Project Manager – Transportation Planning is responsible for preparing multi-modal transportation planning projects, and is responsible for all transportation planning activities, including public transport, master plans, traffic forecasts, surveys, feasibility studies, business cases and FEED for all transport sectors globally in K&A: bus, BRT, light rail, metro, heavy rail, HSR, airports and maritime ports. The jobholder is primarily responsible for being a project manager on planning projects, as well as developing capabilities in the design center. The jobholder may also be involved in establishing project management offices on the client side with all required processes and procedures to develop infrastructure and manage operations, to develop and promote the business, oversee delivery, enforce policies and procedures, ensure quality, manage cost, capacity and utilization within the transportation planning sector.
The jobholder must have experience in public transport and roads projects. The job holder preferably also has experience from bus/BRT operations, business cases and network restructuring, and can attract, develop and standardize transportation planning capabilities within the design center. The jobholder shall stay abreast of the latest trends and developments in the Transportation Planning space and represent the firm as a specialist in the professional engineering communities and international forums.
