Job Summary: Essential Functions

  • Develop, maintain and track utility solutions testing procedures and quality assurance standards
  • Work closely with the utility engineers and developers to implement related test plans/cases &checklists
  • Ability to detect, analyze and resolve / coordinate technical problems efficiently
  • Ability to multi-task and work efficiently under pressure with careful attention to details
  • Strong white & black box testing experience
  • Working knowledge of Quality Management software
  • Ability to manage multiple testing tasks across maintenance releases and systems under development
  • Ability to build, maintain, and execute regression test suite; verify and communicate results to software engineering teams
  • Strong analytical skills to identify test plan automation possibilities and create automation scripts
  • Good Troubleshooting skills for test failure analysis
  • Ability to coordinate effectively with development team to ensure on-time product delivery
  • Results oriented, product focused with excellent attention to detail and quality
  • Strong written (documentation) and oral communication skills
  • Ability to conduct training and presentation
  • Experience in testing web based applications is a must
  • Experience with Oracle and SQL Server is a must
  • Experience of reporting tools / reports testing
  • Experience in Utilities industry is a plus
  • Experience in Team Foundation Server is a plus
