Job Summary

The Senior Site Planning Engineer supports the Project Management and Construction Supervision team in planning, scheduling, and monitoring Saudi Aramco projects. The role includes reviewing contractors’ schedules, tracking progress, identifying delays and risks, evaluating recovery plans and variations, and preparing periodic progress reports in compliance with Saudi Aramco requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review contractors’ baseline schedules, work programs, and recovery plans.
  • Monitor engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning progress.
  • Identify delays, risks, and deviations and recommend corrective actions.
  • Prepare progress reports, look-ahead schedules, dashboards, and S-curves.
  • Support the review of variations and extension-of-time claims.
  • Coordinate with SAPMT, contractors, consultants, and project teams.
  • Ensure compliance with Saudi Aramco standards and project procedures.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
  • 5 to 10 years of planning and project controls experience.
  • Saudi Aramco project experience is mandatory.
  • Experience in engineering consultancy and construction supervision.
  • Microsoft Office.
  • Strong knowledge of scheduling, progress measurement, and delay analysis.
  • Excellent communication, coordination, analytical, and reporting skills.
  • Saudi Aramco approval and PMP, PMI-SP, or PSP certification are preferred.

Technical Skills

  • Strong knowledge of project planning, scheduling, and progress monitoring.
  • Experience in reviewing baseline schedules, recovery plans, and look-ahead programs.
  • Knowledge of critical path, delay, resource, and cost analysis.
  • Ability to prepare progress reports, dashboards, S-curves, and manpower histograms.
  • Knowledge of engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities.
  • Familiarity with Saudi Aramco standards, procedures, and reporting requirements.
  • Experience in evaluating variations and extension-of-time claims.
