Job Summary

To lead and manage  bridge design projects, ensuring the effective implementation of , coordination, and high-quality model production. The role involves close collaboration with structural, geotechnical, and civil teams, with a focus on delivering technically sound and coordinated bridge solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop bridge analytical models, reports, and calculations throughout all project stages.
• Coordinate with BIM modelers and CAD operators to develop 3D models and 2D drawings.
• Ensure the project meets project specifications and industry standards.
• Review project specifications and construction drawings.
• Coordinate foundations design with geotechnical department.
• Conduct meetings with different project stakeholders.
• Coordinate with the other design disciplines.
• Work with the Quantity Surveying department for the development of tender documents.
• Assist in responding to RFIs from site.
• Use BIM tools as the main platform for all collaboration and coordination activities.
• Perform bridge assessments for rehabilitation projects.
• Assist in integrating BIM with structural analysis software (e.g., Midas Civil & CSI Bridge).

Qualification, Technical Skills and Competencies

• Bachelor’s degree in civil/structural engineering is required. Master’s degree is preferrable.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in bridges design. Experience in design of steel bridges is preferrable.
• Experience in design using international bridge standards and codes, especially AASHTO, is required.
• Experience in CSI bridge and Midas civil is a must.
• Fluency in English is required.
• Good communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
• Understanding of bridge rehabilitation techniques and geotechnical engineering principles.
