Job Summary

• 15 years of experience as Hydrology Engineer – preferably in Oman - .
• Able to provide strategic technical leadership and oversight to a team of hydrology and storm water engineering professionals, including rainfall-runoff modeling, flood mitigation measures, and wadi channelization schemes.
• Experience in coordination of the development of hydrological design deliverables, ensuring full compliance with local regulatory frameworks, international engineering standards, and industry best practices.
• Experience in advanced hydrological assessments and numerical
• Liaise effectively with clients, government authorities, and multidisciplinary project teams
• Able to provide expert technical mentorship to engineering staff
• Experience in the review, validation, and approval of all hydrological and hydraulic documentation, including analytical models, technical reports, and engineering drawings,
• Member of Oman Society of Engineer is an advantage

Qualification, Technical Skills and Competencies

• Bachelor/ Master Degree in Engineering
• Chartered Professional Engineering certification or equivalent is preferred
• Good knowledge of water and environment engineering industry in the geography (Oman)
• Understanding of international engineering standards and codes
• Knowledge of Oman construction-related regulations
• Good communication skills
• Good interpersonal and presentation skills
• Proficiency in spoken and written English; Arabic is an advantage
